About the position

Clarios is seeking motivated undergraduates to join its Finance Development Rotation Program (FDRP), which includes four to five rotations in various finance areas. Participants will have the opportunity to work as plant financial analysts in US plant locations for a year, gaining exposure to Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, FP&A, Audit/Governance, Controllership, Risk Management, Tax, Treasury, and Technical Accounting. The program emphasizes career development, networking, mentoring, and performance feedback, ultimately leading to a full-time role in the finance organization upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of monthly management reports and presentations.
  • Execute timely and accurate preparation of all accounting/financial documents.
  • Identify areas of improvement and take action to implement change as agreed upon by management.
  • Prepare month end journal entries and related ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Assist with forecasting and strategic plan efforts.
  • Compile and review forecasting results from the regions and work together with the regions to resolve unusual trends or findings.
  • Maintain adequate back-up/support for key assumptions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or another quantitative field is required.
  • Leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities, employment, and/or internship experiences.
