About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director - Controller to join our team at Main Building, KCHC. As the Finance Director - Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing financial guidance to the executive team. You will play a critical role in the financial success of the organization, and will be expected to provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in healthcare finance; Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC)
• Experience in grants
• Experience with financial software systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Provide financial guidance to the executive team to support decision-making processes
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Manage and mentor the finance team
