About the position

The Finance Director will play a crucial role in overseeing financial reporting and analysis, managing the budgeting process, and providing strategic financial advice within the Greater Philadelphia area. This position requires collaboration with department heads to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the creation and review of finance reports is timely, accurate and in compliance with necessary regulations.
• Discuss the financial outcomes with high-level management, offering interpretation and advice concerning financial status.
• Guide the identification and introduction of financial forecasting and budgetary tools for the business.
• Supervise the process of budgeting, incorporating forecasting and analyzing variances.
• Work together with leaders from various departments to understand financial outcomes and promote operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
• 5+ years of budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP software, NetSuite or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical skill set.

Nice-to-haves
