About the position

The Finance Director at NCAB Group will oversee the financial and accounting department in the USA, playing a crucial role in financial management and reporting. This position involves evaluating and directing accounting practices, financial analysis, and developing financial policies to enhance existing systems. The role is based in Hampstead, NH, and requires collaboration with the finance team in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial/accounting department for NCAB Group, USA.
• Play an integral role in month-end close processes.
• Review and check expense reports for verification.
• File timely financial reports to banks, management, and tax authorities.
• Manage cash flow through Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management.
• Review accounts for errors, incorrect postings, and inconsistencies.
• Conduct contract reviews and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Perform special projects as directed by management.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepare and recommend accounting policies and procedures.
• Report and interact with the finance team in Sweden.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Financial Administration.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong history in month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Experience managing sales commission plans and compensation agreements.
• Strong history of financial statement analysis.
• Reconciliation experience.
• Audit and tax experience.
• Management experience.
• Payroll processing experience.
