About the position

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial operations and strategic planning of the organization. This position involves acting as a key partner and advisor to the Vice President General Manager, collaborating with site leaders to influence financial decisions that drive success. The Finance Director will lead the finance team, ensure compliance with financial practices, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and uphold the highest standards of professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Vice President General Manager and Group Finance team, providing critical business insights and support.
• Guide and develop the finance team, driving data-informed analysis that transforms insights into effective business actions.
• Maintain rigorous internal controls and ensure financial practices align with company policies.
• Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and a strong grasp of variance drivers.
• Deliver timely, high-quality work to support swift and informed decision-making.
• Monitor key contracts and performance indicators, analyzing variances and supporting corrective actions as needed.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive reports, strategic plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics and credibility, ensuring safety and well-being for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of finance leadership background, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a talent for transforming data into strategic actions.
