About the position

The Finance Director will lead and enhance the financial operations of the company, focusing on accurate financial reporting, optimizing accounting processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves overseeing the accounting team and collaborating closely with the CFO to establish benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain efficient processes to improve close and reporting cycles.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to set financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.
  • Provide actionable insights to support key decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting and internal control systems.
  • Supervise daily bank reconciliations and maintain oversight of bank balances.
  • Enforce consistent accounting policies and ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead the accounting team with dynamic and supportive leadership.
  • Supervise, recruit, and train financial staff to ensure trust and productivity.
  • Assess current accounting operations and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance requirements for financial equipment and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of operational performance from financial and business perspectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of healthcare financial management experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Advanced skills in financial applications and spreadsheet software.
