OU Education Services (OUES) is a nonprofit organization established to manage and enhance online learning at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents has authorized OU to engage OUES in supporting the management and delivery of online programs and courses. OUES was created in collaboration with the university to improve its capabilities in increasing education accessibility. We are currently seeking a Finance Director who possesses extensive experience in budgeting and financial management within a nonprofit context, as well as a solid understanding of the financial models applicable to higher education institutions. The Finance Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of OUES. This position requires a strategic thinker who can prepare annual departmental budgets, manage treasury functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working capital needs. The Finance Director will also be responsible for building long-term financial models that align with the organization’s strategic objectives, as well as developing pricing models to support contract negotiations with external partners. The role involves providing timely financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership, supporting department leaders with analytical models, and collaborating with outsourced accounting and tax teams to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that the Finance Director can effectively contribute to the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational finance background, particularly in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments, and will be adept at synthesizing complex financial information for executive decision-making.
