About the position

Koch Capabilities Company (KCC) is seeking a Finance Director to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This strategic finance leadership role is designed to support leveraged capabilities through a team of finance business partners. The Finance Director will have a unique opportunity to contribute across multiple capabilities and Kochpanies, engaging with various stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and influence decision-making processes. This position is ideal for a motivated candidate with strong leadership experience, economic thinking skills, and a passion for building relationships with key partners and leaders. In this role, the Finance Director will be responsible for driving automation and directly leading, developing, and supervising a globally based team that supports Finance Partners in reporting, planning, and billing processes. The individual will also informally lead across the entire KCC FP&A organization, ensuring that the team is aligned with the overall financial strategy of the company. Building trusted relationships and partnerships with key Finance Directors and Capability leaders will be crucial to support a consolidated capability view and to coach team members in sound economic thinking and decision-making. The Finance Director will demonstrate principled entrepreneurship by identifying and driving action on strategic initiatives, including investment, optimization, and transformation initiatives. Progress will be measured through tracking key performance indicators and ensuring that the financial strategies align with the company's goals. This role requires a focus on outcomes, assessing alternatives, evaluating trade-offs and risks, and developing and communicating recommendations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Drive automation within the finance processes.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise a globally based team supporting Finance Partners in reporting, planning, and billing processes.
  • Build trusted relationships with key Finance Directors and Capability leaders to support a consolidated capability view.
  • Coach team members to drive sound economic thinking and accelerate decision-making.
  • Identify and drive action on strategic initiatives, including investment, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Measure progress through tracking key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing leaders/managers or strong individual contributors.
  • Background in finance, business partnering, economic analysis, or related fields demonstrating a solid understanding of financial concepts and performance measures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and leading through change with a transformative mindset.
  • Outcome-focused individual with experience developing and influencing an organization's financial strategy and leading key financial projects.
  • Demonstrated executive presence with strong communication and storytelling skills at all organizational levels.
