About the position

The Finance Director will oversee all accounting aspects of the business, driving financial strategy and planning. This role involves assessing financial performance, managing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
• Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, supporting the annual budget and forecasts in consultation with the regional Vice President.
• Understand contracts within the sector and support financial oversight of these contracts.
• Support management reporting during and post period end, including P&L, inventory, AR, AP, and other analytical reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master's degree or CPA required.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Strong experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
