About the position

Fox Motors has a Finance & Insurance Manager opening in Grand Rapids, MI at Fox Kia North. In this role, you will contribute to our overall vision, 'Working together moving people throughout life,' by developing and maintaining trust with our customers to build long-term relationships. The Finance & Insurance Manager oversees all financial transactions for vehicle purchases and is responsible for credit decisions, producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs, and submitting deals and financial paperwork to our financial partners. This position offers a $900 Monthly Demo Allowance! As the Finance & Insurance Manager, you will be tasked with selling financing and credit life, accident, and health insurance to customers. You will provide customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties, convert cash deals to finance, and establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer. Additionally, you will process finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments. You will also be responsible for completing paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner, checking all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting. It is essential to acquire and maintain a current state insurance license, completing continuing credit insurance education as needed, and ensuring the collection of all finance and insurance fees. You will work closely with the sales manager to establish sales department goals and objectives and ensure that they are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the finance departments.

  • Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
  • Acquires and maintains current state insurance license, completing continuing credit insurance education as needed.

Requirements

  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
