About the position

The Finance & Insurance Product Development Manager at Smart AutoCare is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the development and compliance of auto warranty products. This position ensures that products meet the needs of dealers and agents while adhering to state and lender regulations. The manager will work closely with various teams to prepare and submit product filings, monitor regulatory changes, and provide guidance on compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product forms to be filed with state regulatory authorities and lenders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with product development and operations teams to gather necessary documentation for filings.
• Facilitate communication of filing approvals to relevant teams.
• Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance matters to product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Support the development and review of marketing materials for compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the auto warranty industry and communicate these requirements to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the auto warranty industry, specifically in preparing forms and delivering products.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal auto warranty regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with F&I Sentinel and lender filing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; preferred experience with Monday.com as a project management platform.
