About the position

The Finance & Insurance Manager at Fox Acura Ann Arbor is responsible for overseeing all financial transactions related to vehicle purchases. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The manager will also be tasked with generating additional revenue through finance and insurance programs, while maintaining strong relationships with financial partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all financial transactions for vehicle purchases.
  • Sells financing and credit life, accident, and health insurance to customers.
  • Provides thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties to customers.
  • Converts cash deals to finance.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with finance sources, including the manufacturer.
  • Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
  • Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the finance departments.
  • Completes necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases in a timely manner.
  • Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
  • Acquires and maintains current state insurance license, completing continuing education as needed.
  • Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Works closely with the sales manager to establish and achieve sales department goals.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
