About the position

2025 AuctaneU Summer Internship Program Applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university. This is a paid internship with the ability to work 40 hours per week (except for the week of July 4th). The position is hybrid in Austin, TX (Monday & Friday remotely & Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office). This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, the intern will engage in multiple areas of finance, including accounts receivable (AR), financial analysis, Treasury, Cash Applications, and Collections. They will gain firsthand exposure to the steps involved in bank account management, wire payments, cash application, invoicing, and collections, with practical, hands-on work in each of these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
  • Assisting in accounts receivable (AR) management and reconciliation.
  • Supporting Treasury operations, including bank account administration and entering wires.
  • Supporting Treasury's bank relationship migration in Spain and Poland.
  • Learning and participating in the processes of cash application, invoicing, and collections, including hands-on work in each area.
  • Collaborating with the Cash Applications and Collections teams to streamline processes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and dashboards for financial performance metrics.
  • Participating in process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Other finance-related tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Located in or near the Austin, Texas area.
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, Treasury, or financial analysis.
  • Passion for process optimization and data-driven decision-making.
