About the position

The Finance Managed Services Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leading a team that designs, implements, and operates finance and accounting managed services for clients. This role involves collaborating with clients to address complex operational challenges, leveraging advanced technology and analytics to enhance service delivery and efficiency. The manager will oversee client relationships, manage project quality and timelines, and contribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients during the sales cycle to understand their managed service requirements, including processes, organization, and technology landscape.
• Support proposal efforts, staffing plans, and pricing models.
• Design and architect managed service solutions, transition plans, and ongoing operations policies and procedures.
• Manage engagement quality, risk, timelines, and resources during transition and ongoing operations.
• Identify and implement operational process improvements that drive increased efficiency using leading practices in AI and RPA.
• Manage select client relationships and stakeholders throughout the engagement.
• Contribute to initiatives that drive growth of the practice, including developing eminence, thought leadership, and point-of-view materials.
• Perform the role of mentor and coach to help others achieve their career objectives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of consulting and/or BPO experience in Finance and Accounting in a Managed Service environment.
• 3+ years of experience as the Delivery Lead of a CFO managed service operation.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Business development experience including sales and RFP response development.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

• Transitioning work to offshore delivery centers.
