About the position

As a Finance Manager at Expedia Group, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial management support and partnering with leaders across the organization. This position is integral to influencing strategic decisions that drive the business forward. Additionally, you will lead projects aimed at simplifying and automating current processes, ensuring that the finance function is efficient and effective. This role requires a high level of intellectual curiosity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management. You will need to be results-driven, highly motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience in Oracle and Hyperion, is essential for success in this role. With over 6 years of relevant professional experience, you will be well-equipped to contribute to the financial health of Expedia Group and support its mission to power global travel for everyone, everywhere.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Finance Partner for B2C, understanding business levers and identifying opportunities to drive value.
  • Distill complex financial data into impactful insights and build financial models to analyze trends and initiatives.
  • Partner with multiple teams to build accurate forecasts, identifying and analyzing risks and opportunities.
  • Support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Board of Directors presentations, and Investor Relations/earnings preparation.
  • Drive process improvement through effective business partnering across the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and benchmarking of the portfolio of brands, products sold, and marketing channels.
  • Lead various projects to simplify and automate current processes.
