About the position

The Finance Manager at Legends will support the Regional Finance Director in overseeing and analyzing capital and operating budgets. This role involves preparing financial analyses, forecasting, and managing payroll disbursements, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. The Finance Manager will also work closely with various departments to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director of Finance in preparing operations analysis and reports.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash and credit card transactions.
• Oversee the inventory process and conduct cost of goods analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes.
• Manage weekly payroll disbursements, including garnishments and benefits.
• Analyze monthly balance sheet and P&L figures to identify performance trends.
• Develop and coordinate automated accounting applications and processes.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Process check and refund requests for accuracy and resolve any issues.
• Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
• Highly analytical with the ability to understand complex business dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of POS and payroll systems.
• Experience in financial analysis and reconciling.
