About the position

The Finance Manager/Controller is responsible for managing the finance and accounting departments, providing essential financial information to assist management and stakeholders in making informed economic decisions. This role involves overseeing daily invoicing, cash flow monitoring, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while supporting the management team in various financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily invoicing accurately and timely, ensuring all shipments and documentation are accounted for in the financial system.
• Follow up with customers to ensure receipt of invoices and on-time payment.
• Update, track, and monitor the company's weekly cash flow and report to the management team.
• Perform weekly payroll processing, reconciling employee work hours for accurate payroll tax compliance.
• Enter bills and determine total accounts payable outflows, balancing with available cash flow and collections amounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of all accounts receivable and cash receipts.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of financial processes and data.
• Review and maintain employee files for compliance with local and federal standards.
• Respond to Owner with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.
• Participate in special projects and compile various reports.

Requirements

• Five years minimum experience in Accounting, Finance, or bookkeeping.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is beneficial but not required.
• Strong technical capacity in Excel and QuickBooks (Online).
• Bilingual in English, both spoken and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
