About the position

The Finance Manager role at E2E North America is pivotal in shaping Amazon's supply chain by driving financial planning and performance analysis for North America Operations. This high-visibility position involves collaborating with various teams to consolidate financials, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost and KPI reporting, ensuring data integrity, and communicating complex financial issues clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic supply chain initiatives with business and finance partners by presenting financial and non-financial trade-offs using data.
  • Improve the Canada FP&A processes to simplify and improve accuracy in the consolidation of planning and reporting.
  • Oversee financial reporting for your business area, understanding input drivers and validating the integrity of the reporting.
  • Identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues while improving controls to address financial risk.
  • Communicate data clearly and concisely to various audiences, driving critical business decisions.
  • Become an expert in your lane to contribute to work-life harmony and model operations excellence.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
  • 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 5+ years of solving complex business challenges with accurate financial models and analysis experience
  • MBA or CPA
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
