Amazon's World-Wide Fulfillment By Amazon (WW FBA) organization is seeking an innovative, results-oriented, and strategic Finance Manager to partner with the WW FBA Product, Tech, and Operations leadership team. This role is pivotal in leading the growth into a complex but fast-growing space, requiring a finance professional who is both strategic and operationally-minded. The ideal candidate will excel in ambiguous situations, balancing attention to detail with a broader perspective, and will take ownership of some of the organization's most visible mechanisms and artifacts, such as weekly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, annual operating plans, and 3-year vision plans. In this role, the Finance Manager will collaborate closely with the WW FBA Product, Tech, and Operations leadership team to develop and drive operational processes, including Business Reviews, Finance and Operations, and Goal Management. The candidate must possess the ability to understand complex technology-driven initiatives and programs, influencing stakeholders at all levels. A successful Finance Manager will be a strong organizer, take initiative, and operate effectively across various teams, ensuring that the team is set up for success in achieving organizational goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting for the business area, understanding input drivers, and validating the integrity of reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. The Finance Manager will develop and implement forecasting processes and best practices to improve accuracy and quickly identify risks and opportunities. Prioritizing controllership, the candidate will identify and resolve complex data integrity issues, improve controls to address financial risks, and support frugality. Additionally, the Finance Manager will educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs, communicate data clearly, and collect and analyze data to develop insightful reports that drive business performance and cost reductions. The role also involves fostering constructive dialogues, mentoring the Finance community, and sponsoring Finance-wide professional development initiatives, including inclusion and diversity initiatives.
