About the position

The Finance Manager, FP&A role at Adobe is a senior-level position within the Digital Experience Finance team. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven forecasts and providing influential insights that impact Adobe's business decisions and external earnings releases. The Finance Manager will be responsible for subscription revenue forecasting, operational improvements, and collaboration with various teams to enhance financial performance and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare revenue guidance for bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Explain forecast variances from actuals with data-driven narratives.
  • Build financial models and run scenario analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive operational improvements and lead governance and standardization efforts.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Corp FP&A, Credit, Order Management, and Sales teams.
  • Address new requests by gathering data, building models, and presenting results.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in the SaaS industry or CPA firm.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience with SQL is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, SFDC, SAP, and TM1 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate big data.
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale planning processes involving multiple business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and set objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with financial modeling and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with governance and standardization processes.
