About the position

As a Finance Manager at Larry H Miller Honda, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions involved in the vehicle buying experience. This position focuses on working with lenders, producing financial paperwork, and consulting staff on DMV laws, all while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with regulations. You will also be responsible for building customer relationships and achieving monthly objectives, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial transaction of the vehicle buying experience for customers.
  • Work with lenders to obtain bank approvals for car purchases.
  • Produce financial paperwork and consult staff on DMV laws.
  • Assist the sales team and customers in the financial buying process.
  • Build rapport with customers to establish a referral network.
  • Consult and sell finance and insurance warranties to customers.
  • Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and secure funding from finance sources.
  • Achieve monthly objectives and meet deadlines for customer paperwork submission.
  • Secure and handle customer money during vehicle transactions.
  • Adhere to local and national regulations and advise the sales team on state laws.
  • Partner with service advisors to assist customers with purchasing extended warranties.
  • Maintain relationships with lenders and vendors, ensuring an impeccable reputation.
  • Provide finance and insurance menu presentations explaining warranty packages.
  • Assist sales professionals with customers to explain lending options and warranties.
  • Build relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of prior automotive sales consultant experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and dealership management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Ability to understand tag and title laws; DMV knowledge is essential.
  • Track record of impeccable customer service ratings.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background & drug test).
