About the position

The Finance Manager at Luby's Culinary Services is responsible for managing the invoicing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This role involves collaboration with various departments to maintain financial records, support audits, and prepare for client meetings, all while upholding the company's core values of innovation and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly invoices for all client accounts, utilizing accounting data and operational reports.
  • Serves as liaison with LCS Directors on operational finance questions by providing guidance and direction.
  • Maintains processes and support schedules for each client account.
  • Coordinates preparation with CFO for meetings with client management to discuss costs included on client invoice.
  • Maintains detailed support files for tracking of client invoice components to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Maintains schedule of Accounts Receivable.
  • Coordinates with Treasury department on proper identification of banking transactions.
  • Coordinates monthly corporate card charges to ensure charges are properly approved by Directors.
  • Reviews monthly accruals.
  • Assists with annual financial audit as it relates to the LCS business segment.
  • Coordinates with IT to ensure data feeds from POS are correct and functioning as intended.
  • Prepare CFO for quarterly reviews with clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or treasury environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify changes to a process in order to streamline and improve productivity.
