About the position

The Finance Manager, M&A at Providence is responsible for leading financial due diligence for various transactions within the health system, including mergers and acquisitions. This role involves providing expert financial analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful integration of processes post-transaction. The position requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to summarize complex financial information for senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial due diligence for transactions across the health system, including acquisitions and mergers.
  • Administer independent financial reviews of high visibility M&A and capital projects for system leadership.
  • Provide expert advice on complex financial modeling issues and accounting impacts.
  • Deliver detailed summaries of financial analysis of major projects to senior executives.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and lead coordination as needed.
  • Accountable for post-transaction support, including integration of processes and monitoring value propositions.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Responsible for budgeting and long-range planning.
  • Summarize results of analysis into Executive Summaries as required.
  • Analyze complex accounting transactions.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in finance or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
