About the position

The Finance Manager - Operations at Jostens is a pivotal role responsible for managing key financial matters across the organization. This position involves preparing detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring the company has the necessary funds for operational and capital investments. The Finance Manager will provide valuable insights to guide long-term strategic planning and analyze budget variances to support financial success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and supply chain leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Implement and oversee necessary controls for accurate accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Take responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet accounting and reporting.
• Lead the improvement and standardization of COGS and inventory reporting.
• Act as the key finance business partner for outsourcing projects, including cost savings analyses.
• Support the month-end close processes related to COGS and inventory.
• Assist in the creation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly financial forecasts.
• Create ad-hoc analysis in support of key operations and supply chain initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of related professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Expertise in database/ERP systems, including Oracle/EDW.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Experience presenting to management groups and senior-level executives.
• Exceptional analytical skills to uncover actionable insights.
• Intellectual curiosity to explore new financial trends and solutions.
• Results-oriented with the ability to challenge the status quo.
