About the position

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing team. This position is crucial as it involves leading the finance department and ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience when arranging financing for their vehicle purchases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership finance and insurance procedures, with a focus on structuring deals that maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for presenting customers with additional products that enhance their vehicle ownership experience. You will need to be proficient in the title laws and registration processes, ensuring that all deals are compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines. Your role will also involve accurately desking deals, submitting them to lenders for approval, making credit decisions, and effectively closing deals. You will prepare all necessary paperwork and contracts, ensuring that the funding of all contracts is expedited post-sale. We are looking for someone who is not only experienced but also possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to demonstrate strong negotiation and presentation skills, as well as maintain a professional appearance. Responsibilities

  • Help customers arrange the financing of their purchases and present additional products that enhance their vehicle ownership experience.
  • Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
  • Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
  • Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals.
  • Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals.
  • Accurately audit team deals post-sale.
  • Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to a background check prior to employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Chevrolet experience preferred, but not required.
