The Finance Manager at Gilroy Chevrolet Cadillac is responsible for overseeing the financing process for vehicle purchases, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the customer ownership experience. Responsibilities

  • Help customers arrange financing for their vehicle purchases.
  • Present additional products that enhance the vehicle ownership experience.
  • Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
  • Maintain proficiency with title laws and registration processes.
  • Accurately desk deals and submit them to lenders for approval.
  • Make credit decisions and effectively close deals.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for all deals.
  • Prepare paperwork and contracts for deal delivery.
  • Audit team deals post-sale to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in a finance role.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to a background check prior to employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Chevrolet experience preferred, but not required.
