About the position

As a Finance Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for finance strategy and operations, focusing on annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting. This role involves maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including training and development.
  • Coordinate and own the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Review balance sheet account analysis and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
  • Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
  • Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate the development of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Communicate difficult information and handle critical issues effectively.
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements.
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, and performance management preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to convey critical information and performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Intermediate math skills for financial calculations.
  • Experience in Project Management financial planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mentoring and coaching staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive approach.
