About the position

The Finance Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance Leadership and operational leaders within the organization. This role is essential in utilizing financial reporting and forecasting tools to develop annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for various business entities and departments. The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors, as well as for department and operational leaders. This position requires leading or supporting monthly meetings with operational and functional leaders to review and discuss financial performance, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on financial matters. In addition to reporting, the Finance Manager will create financial models and pro forma analyses to support sound decision-making. This includes analyzing the financial impact of new business acquisitions, services, or processes. Establishing strong working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization is crucial, as is the ability to communicate in a responsive and professional manner with all HOPCo employees and third parties. The Finance Manager must exhibit integrity without exception, inspiring trust and respect throughout the organization while prioritizing honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior, all while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance Leadership and operational leaders as a strategic, hands-on business partner.
  • Utilize financial reporting and forecasting tools to develop annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for multiple business entities and departments.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors, department, and operational leaders.
  • Lead or support monthly meetings with various operational and functional leaders to review and discuss financial performance.
  • Create financial models and pro forma analyses to support sound decision-making, including analyzing the financial impact of new business acquisitions, services, or processes.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business partners throughout all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in corporate finance or operations finance.
  • Experience in health care services is a plus.
