About the position

The Finance Manager, Reporting and Data Governance position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on enhancing our financial reporting capabilities and ensuring robust data governance practices. This position requires a seasoned professional who can lead the development and delivery of comprehensive financial reports that provide essential insights to the CFO and senior management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring that they align with data governance standards and practices. This role is pivotal in guiding strategic decision-making processes and improving the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. In this role, the Finance Manager will master the use of advanced financial systems, including Oracle EPM, Oracle Analytics, and Power BI, to consolidate financial data accurately and adhere to accounting standards. The candidate will design and oversee the creation of advanced financial models and forecasts, utilizing Power BI or other appropriate tools to provide deep analytical insights that will steer the company's strategic planning. Additionally, the Finance Manager will spearhead initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes through automation, emphasizing the importance of data governance and process reengineering. The position also involves designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial data. The Finance Manager will partner with senior management across various departments to align financial reporting and analysis with the organization's strategic objectives, thereby enhancing decision-making processes. Collaboration with IT and data management teams will be essential to establish data governance protocols, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage, ensuring that the financial data used for reporting is both accurate and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and refinement of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to provide critical financial insights to the CFO and senior management, ensuring alignment with data governance standards and practices.
• Master the use of Oracle EPM, specifically EPBCS and FCCS, and Oracle Analytics for financial data consolidation, ensuring stringent accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Design and oversee advanced financial models and forecasts in Power BI, or other appropriate tools, offering deep analytical insights to steer the company's strategic planning.
• Spearhead the enhancement of financial reporting processes through automation, emphasizing data governance and process reengineering.
• Design and implement robust data governance frameworks to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Partner with senior management across departments to align financial reporting and analysis with strategic objectives, enhancing decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with IT and data management teams to establish data governance protocols, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
• Expert proficiency in Oracle EPM, Oracle Analytics, and Power BI.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and advanced financial analysis techniques.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience in managing teams and presenting financial data to senior stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial reporting tools.

Nice-to-haves
