About the position

The Finance Manager - Special Projects at Pursuit Aerospace is responsible for overseeing the monthly, annual, and long-range financial planning and analysis processes. This role involves collaborating with the leadership team to prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and managing special projects related to business transformation and financial integration. The position requires a strategic partnership with corporate functions to establish and achieve annual budgets while ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Performs periodic planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the organization
  • Analyzes and reports monthly financial results
  • Leads Finance arm of the Transformation Office
  • Leads financial integration initiatives of acquired businesses
  • Develops and maintains indirect cost rates and supports sites on all cost and pricing analyses
  • Monitors and analyzes production sites' budgets
  • Develops and analyzes site key financial and operational performance metrics
  • Provides analyses for ad hoc or other business special projects that lend insight into key business drivers
  • Ensures accurate and timely monthly reporting associated with functional strategic projects
  • Assists in preparing quarterly Board of Directors and management presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or related business degrees
  • Seven (7) years of relevant financial planning & analysis experience
  • Experience providing knowledge of indirect cost and rates and their impact to the business
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Experience with Qlik BI or other BI tools
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
