The scope of the role can have a pan-business impact, focusing on comprehensive reviews, specialized analysis, audits, and initiatives that span a yearly time frame. The Finance Manager is accountable for conducting financial analysis, research, reviews, and audits to support functional goals and objectives. In this role, the Finance Manager may interface with finance partners, leaders, and external parties, serving as a source of advice to senior management in their area of specialty. The position involves leading teams of specialists and completing complex projects that require a deep understanding of business processes and the integration of cross-functional operations. The work is guided by established policies and industry standards, necessitating innovative thinking to develop new solutions. The Finance Manager must effectively communicate complex concepts, converting information into compelling business contexts and influencing alignment across senior stakeholders. The Finance Manager is expected to work autonomously, guiding others within their area of expertise. This role requires a strong educational background, with an undergraduate degree and over seven years of relevant experience, preferably with an accounting or financial designation. The Finance Manager will work closely with business partners to understand their objectives and contribute to the strategic direction of the business, utilizing advanced data visualization and analytics to generate insights that drive business growth. Additionally, the Finance Manager will develop and implement financial plans and forecasts, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. This position also involves mentoring team members, fostering a positive work environment, and acting as a brand ambassador for the business area and the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic finance advice, analysis, and support for key business areas/portfolios.
  • Manage senior relationships to provide business insights and decision support.
  • Conduct financial analysis, research, reviews, and audits to support functional goals.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Preferred accounting or financial designation (e.g., CPA, CFA).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
  • Experience in developing financial models and conducting audits.
