About the position
The Finance Manager at Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) plays a crucial role in enhancing business outcomes by providing financial leadership and insights. This position involves building strong relationships with business leaders to understand priorities and deliver actionable insights. The Finance Manager will act as a change agent, driving transformation through effective financial strategies and processes, and will be based in Wichita, KS, with eligibility for relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership and insights into business performance to influence and support business decisions.
- Frame investment opportunities and develop Knowledge Processes that drive business strategy and accountability.
- Improve decision-making speed through effective use of Principle Based Management (PBM) and economic thinking.
- Develop processes, systems, and tools to enhance transparency and communication of financial results.
- Partner with internal capabilities to develop in-depth data analytics and compelling visualizations.
- Engage with business leadership and operational teams to understand and meet business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in building partnerships across various organizational facets such as R&D, Operations, and Commercial.
- Financial modeling experience including key driver analysis and economic framing.
- Progressive growth in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business decision support roles.
- Strong economic thinking skills and ability to apply economic tools and mental models.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time, including international travel.
Nice-to-haves
- Demonstrated experience in framing and modeling investment and process improvement opportunities.
- Proven experience in Project Management within an R&D environment or construction industry.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
