About the position

This Finance Manager position is pivotal in overseeing the financial impact of various departments on the corporate budget and financial statements. The role involves conducting pre and post-program analysis to monitor the effectiveness of programs, ensuring proper financial reporting, and leading group reviews of budgeted expenses. The Finance Manager will also participate in the financial support of operations, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The responsibilities of this position are prioritized as follows: the first priority is program review and expense reconciliation, which accounts for 30% of the role. The second priority is financial reporting and analysis, making up 25% of the responsibilities. Month-end and year-end close processes also constitute 25% of the role, while audit responsibilities account for 10%. Finally, the Finance Manager will provide department support, which also represents 10% of the job duties. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a BS in Finance or Accounting, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role overseeing corporate budgets is required, with experience in the automotive industry being a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience managing direct reports and will be proficient in SAP. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments are essential, as is experience with marketing and advertising spend, although this is not mandatory. Advanced Excel skills, including v-lookup functions and pivot tables, are also necessary for this position.

Requirements

  • Experience working with Marketing/Advertising spend preferred but not required.
