THE ROLE Join our client's team as a Finance Manager, where you will be responsible for building and managing all financial processes and reporting for the company. You will spearhead the development of financial strategies, including annual budgets, forecasting, and month-to-month reconciliations, working closely with other executives to drive the financial health of the organization. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and operational execution, particularly in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS startup environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO General Bookkeeping & Financial Management : Oversee all bookkeeping tasks, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards and accrual reporting for investors. Manage payroll administration, employee benefits, and ensure timely and accurate tax reconciliations. Financial Reporting & Budgeting : Lead the development of the annual budget, working closely with department heads to align financial goals. Generate monthly management reports, KPIs, and performance metrics in collaboration with the CEO, COO, and CBO. Invoice Management & Collections : Manage the creation and distribution of invoices, and oversee the collections process to ensure timely cash flow. Operational Finance Support : Collaborate with the CBO and go-to-market teams to ensure financial processes map to operational procedures, assisting with the development of improvements in systems such as HubSpot. Financial Controls & Policies : Develop and implement company-wide financial controls, spending policies, and expense tracking to ensure efficiency and compliance. CPA & Audit Management : Coordinate with external CPA firms for annual audits and tax filings, managing the process to ensure proper accounting and compliance. Strategic Guidance: Provide ongoing strategic financial insights and forecasting, helping leadership make informed decisions that drive growth and sustainability. WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED 3+ years of finance experience in a startup or SaaS environment, ideally with B2B SaaS companies. Proven experience with general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting (GAAP standards). Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with an ability to create actionable insights for executives. Experience managing payroll, compensation plans, and tax filings. Expertise with financial tools and platforms such as QuickBooks and advanced proficiency in Excel modeling. Knowledge of SaaS metrics and managing contracts and reporting related to recurring revenue models. Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus. Strong quantitative analysis skills and the ability to solve complex financial problems with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A CPA license is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment.
