About the position

The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day finance operations, aligning processes with Aristocrat Labs' strategic objectives. This role serves as a key business partner to the Finance community and Technology leadership, influencing the financial and strategic direction of the organization. The Finance Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize tools and processes for a centralized gaming technology development function.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day finance operations while aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Provide analysis and advice through proactive performance monitoring.
  • Input into short-term and long-range planning cycles.
  • Create forecasting models for future spending based on product roadmaps.
  • Act as a commercial business partner to the Technology leadership team.
  • Build business cases and conduct due diligence for strategic initiatives.
  • Support the execution of the quarterly forecasting process.
  • Manage monthly performance reporting to Technology leadership.
  • Analyze and seek improvement opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Manage cost base to agreed targets including headcount and budget.
  • Ensure accuracy of month-end accounts and submissions to corporate.
  • Lead the accounting close process and prepare financial statements.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate and track strategic initiatives.
  • Report and analyze individual cost lines on the P&L monthly.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Commercial Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven proficiency in accounting and knowledge of reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid knowledge of finance concepts and internal controls.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Strong modeling and system skills (Excel, TM1).
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders effectively.
