About the position

The Del Grande Dealer Group is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance on financing options and products related to vehicle purchases. As a Finance Manager, you will engage with a diverse clientele, helping them navigate the complexities of financing while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities will include structuring deals to maximize profitability, submitting deals to lenders for approval, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. You will also be responsible for auditing team deals post-sale to identify areas for improvement and guarantee the timely funding of all contracts. In this position, you will be expected to present additional product offerings that enhance the vehicle ownership experience, thereby fostering customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dealership finance and insurance procedures, along with exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered. Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and assistance to customers to arrange the financing of their purchases.
  • Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
  • Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability.
  • Submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions and effectively close deals.
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Accurately audit team deals post-sale and deeply analyze for improvements.
  • Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to improve.
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability.
  • Well-versed in title laws and registration process.
  • Professional appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, DMV Check required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in dealership finance (1 year preferred).
