About the position

The Finance Manager at Aristocrat is responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations while aligning processes with the strategic objectives of Aristocrat Labs. This role serves as a key business partner to the Finance community and Technology leadership, influencing the financial and strategic direction of the organization. The Finance Manager will engage in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring accurate financial statements and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day finance operations aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Provide analysis and advice through proactive performance monitoring.
  • Input into short-term and long-range planning cycles.
  • Create forecasting models for future spending based on product roadmaps.
  • Act as a commercial business partner to the Technology leadership team.
  • Support the Director, Commercial in building business cases and conducting due diligence processes.
  • Manage the quarterly forecasting process and report monthly performance plans to leadership.
  • Analyze and seek improvement opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including A/P, intercompany, general ledger, banking, and payroll.
  • Lead the accounting close process and prepare accurate financial statements.
  • Report and analyze individual cost lines on the P&L monthly.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Commercial Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven proficiency in accounting and strong knowledge of reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of finance concepts and internal controls.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Strong modeling and system skills (Excel, TM1).
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders effectively.
