About the position

The Finance Manager at Hyatt Corporation is responsible for overseeing all accounting processes at the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective management of financial transactions. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including invoicing, cash management, and reconciliation, while also supporting special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting processes at the hotel.
• Post monthly transactions and prepare monthly invoices and statements.
• Post cash receipts and wire transfers.
• Reconcile A/R trial balance to General Ledger as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding collection issues.
• Assist with various special projects, including receiving, inventory, and purchase orders.
• Manage the hotel's cash bank.

Requirements

• Two years accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and financial accounting system use (Oracle Preferred).
