About the position

The Airport Finance Manager at OTG is responsible for managing the airport's accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations. This role involves overseeing the Money Room and Accounting Teams, implementing policies for asset safeguarding, and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to support the Senior Finance Manager and collaborate with various departments to achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Money Room Team and ensure accuracy of cash reporting.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in maintaining the integrity of the money room and cash reporting.
  • Review cash settlement reports for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee the Accounting Team to ensure timely entry of invoices and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Analyze and report weekly financial results to regional and corporate management.
  • Ensure accuracy of physical inventory and investigate book to physical adjustments.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts and expense budgets, explaining variances from actuals to budget.
  • Review and approve monthly accruals and ensure accurate purchases are recorded in the correct month.
  • Analyze weekly schedules to budget to manage overtime and coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Terminal Director to provide necessary reports and achieve operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years as an Accounting Manager in a hospitality/food and beverage/retail environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional management team.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting systems.
  • Experience with Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in variance analysis and revenue reporting.
  • Knowledge of GAAP policies and internal controls.
