About the position

The Finance Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Plano is responsible for managing and overseeing the entire financing process for customers, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience from initial contact to deal finalization. This role involves analyzing credit applications, negotiating financing options, and collaborating with the sales team to maximize finance sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire financing process for customers, from initial contact to finalizing the deal
• Review and analyze credit applications, credit reports, and other relevant financial information to determine financing options
• Negotiate and secure financing with various lending institutions to ensure competitive rates and terms for customers
• Present finance options and related products to customers, explaining available features and benefits
• Collaborate with sales team to maximize finance sales opportunities and ensure a smooth customer experience
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate and organized finance department records and reports
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to sales staff on finance-related topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
