About the position

The Finance Manager at our dealership plays a crucial role in presenting financing options to boat and powersport buyers while supporting the sales team. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, particularly in a dealership setting, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize dealer revenue through effective communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Present financing options and opportunities to boat and powersport buyers.
• Support the sales team by building relationships and following sales processes.
• Obtain approvals for customers and present them with various financing options and products.
• Serve as an intermediary between finance companies and the dealership during the sales process.
• Complete all documentation required by federal and local regulations for each transaction.
• Fill out sale contracts, set payoff values, and conduct credit checks.
• Call leads on service contracts and study rate sheets to enhance product knowledge.
• Send in finance contracts and strive to keep funding within 3 days.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a finance officer in a dealership setting.
• Proven track record of high performance in finance management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
