About the position

The Finance Manager at Dickey's Barbecue Pit is responsible for developing and improving budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. This role involves preparing daily financial reports, analyzing financial performance, and making recommendations for optimization. The Finance Manager will also track key performance indicators and identify areas for revenue opportunities and cost improvements, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate daily financial reports
• Identify action items to obtain goals and objectives
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Create financial analysis reports and models
• Collect financial data from internal departments
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPI) and objectives
• Drill into data to make recommendations as to business decisions
• Identify areas for revenue opportunities and cost improvements
• Identify and research variances
• Perform ad hoc analysis
• Analyze current financial performance and make recommendations towards financial optimization
• Create P&L for business units, identify model revenue and cost drivers, implement approved recommendations
• Present risks and rewards of various financial planning methods and make recommendations towards obtaining goals and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
• 2+ years experience in FP&A or related field
• Strong Excel skills required
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Experience with PowerBI preferred
• High level of commitment to quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable navigating through gray areas without clear solutions to come up with solutions
• Ability and willingness to work in a Dallas based office while also supporting other offices
