About the position

The Finance Manager at Entranosa Water Association is responsible for overseeing financial operations, including accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This full-time, in-office role requires strong accounting skills and the ability to present financial information to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Accounts reconciliation, including reconciling billing data from the Billing Software into the Accounting Software.
• Understanding the Work Orders System, Inventory Tracking, and Fixed Asset Schedule.
• Supplying monthly, annual, and quarterly financial reports, and preparing accurate monthly financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Presenting monthly financials to the Board of Directors at regular meetings.
• Preparing year-end adjusting entries and providing annual reports to independent auditors.
• Preparing monthly Gross Receipts and filing monthly reports with the NM Department of Revenue, as well as preparing quarterly payroll reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of direct related experience in accounting, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Budget & Equipment Tracking.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.
