About the position

The Finance Manager at Hyatt Corporation is responsible for overseeing all accounting processes at the hotel. This role involves managing financial transactions, preparing invoices and statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Finance Manager will also handle cash management and assist with special projects, contributing to the overall financial health of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting processes at the hotel.
• Post monthly transactions and prepare monthly invoices and statements.
• Post cash receipts and wire transfers.
• Reconcile A/R trial balance to General Ledger as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding collection issues.
• Assist with various special projects as assigned, including receiving, inventory, and purchase orders.
• Manage the hotel's cash bank.

Requirements

• Two years accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and financial accounting system use (Oracle Preferred).
