About the position

The Airport Finance Manager at OTG is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting activities at the airport. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and implementing policies to safeguard assets. The position plays a crucial role in driving financial performance and supporting the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Money Room Team and ensure accuracy and integrity of cash reporting.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in maintaining accountability for terminal cash controls.
  • Review cash settlement reports for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee the Accounting Team to ensure timely entry of invoices and payments.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies with invoices and payments.
  • Analyze and report weekly financial results to regional and corporate management.
  • Analyze Crunchtime & Mirus reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
  • Ensure accuracy of physical inventory and investigate book to physical adjustments.
  • Perform audits of product invoices to ensure accurate cost accounting.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts and expense budgets.
  • Analyze variances from actuals to budget and strategize to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with budget in purchasing by operational departments.
  • Review and approve monthly accruals for accurate accounting periods.
  • Analyze weekly schedules to ensure operational efficiency and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with the Terminal Director to provide necessary reports for operational goals.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of terminals to enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the completion of special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional management team.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound planning and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting systems.
  • Experience with Oracle.
