About the position

AbeTech is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, playing a vital role in strategic financial decision-making and management. This position involves overseeing budgeting activities, financial reporting, and advising executive management on financial matters, all while ensuring the company meets its financial goals and maintains compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of budget policies and guidelines.
  • Implements and supports applications and reporting tools used for planning, forecasting and decision support.
  • Perform financial management duties, including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, and analyzing industry trends.
  • Prepare and present rolling 12-month forecasts, scenario planning and other financial modeling as requested.
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company's finances.
  • Forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company.
  • Lead credit and collections functions.
  • Manage AbeTech's data warehouse.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or similar role.
  • 3 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working with large amounts of data.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the tech field or a solution integrator.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
