About the position

As a Finance Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for finance strategy and operations, focusing on budget preparation, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting. This role involves maintaining accounting and financial policies and controls, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee their training and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and mentor team members.
• Lead the recruiting and hiring processes for new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
• Set and track deadlines for staff and department deliverables.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
• Review balance sheet account analysis and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
• Approve monthly journal entries and produce various financial reports for senior management.
• Coordinate the development of accounting policies and procedures.
• Communicate complex information and performance expectations effectively to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance appraisal preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to empower team effectiveness and quality.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Intermediate math skills for financial calculations.
• Experience in project management financial planning, including budget development and cost estimates.
