About the position

The position involves working in the finance and insurance department of a dealership, where the individual will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, managing finance deals, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet production and quality standards, and a professional appearance. The candidate will also need to interact positively with customers and colleagues, and uphold the dealership's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all rate quotations and present paperwork to finance sources for approval on all finance deals.
  • Maintain current files of active insurance and financial agencies and a Finance and Insurance logbook.
  • Maintain monthly penetration reports on finance penetration and devise methods for timely completion of sales-related paperwork.
  • Scrutinize all paperwork for errors to ensure accuracy of title, taxes, and line information.
  • Set and achieve monthly sales objectives and goals, providing reports as requested.
  • Provide a strong selection of available finance and insurance products by recruiting and maintaining a healthy market base.
  • Actively cross-sell accessories, parts, and ready-to-ride products to customers.
  • Interact effectively with all departments, particularly the Service Manager and Sales Department.
  • Encourage staff to provide quality customer service and handle customer complaints courteously.
  • Utilize the delivery of new or used automobiles to create events that facilitate customer loyalty.

Requirements

  • NC Notary preferred.
  • Able to qualify for a NC Sales License.
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and stack a deal in order as required by the dealership.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
  • Valid state insurance license.
  • Experience with F&I product sales or ability to efficiently learn product information.
