About the position

Ken Garff Ford Greeley is seeking a talented Finance Manager (F&I) who embodies our core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing vehicle sales while protecting the front-end gross. Your responsibilities will include treating every customer with professionalism and friendliness, regardless of their financing or purchasing decisions. You will be expected to learn and adhere to the Ken Garff F&I Policies and Procedures, maintaining minimum acceptable standards for the sale of F&I products and financing. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various lending sources is essential, as you will be responsible for submitting all necessary paperwork to obtain approvals for finance deals. In this role, you will finalize all paperwork related to car deals in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy before submission to the accounting office. You will maintain a Daily Operating Control and regularly review it with the General Manager. Acquiring and keeping current the required insurance licenses is also part of your responsibilities. You will provide Sales Managers with average interest rates monthly to assist in customer payment planning and will set up a program to ensure a 100-percent turnover ratio to the F&I department. Participation in sales meetings and daily “-A-Deal” meetings with other managers is expected, along with maintaining an up-to-date manual that includes current lender rates, factory programs, and F&I product prices. Additionally, you will assist customers with claims on F&I products and ensure their resolution. Your role will also involve setting up monthly forecasting in collaboration with the sales department to establish and meet monthly objectives, as well as maintaining insurance files that include policies, rates, and claim forms. Collecting and safeguarding all money and fees required in transactions is a critical aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Secure the sale of the vehicle and protect the front-end gross.
  • Treat every customer in a friendly, professional manner, regardless of their financing or purchasing decision, or credit ability.
  • Learn and adhere to the Ken Garff F&I Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain minimum acceptable standards with regards to the sale of F&I products and financing.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several lending sources.
  • Submit all paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Finalize all paperwork necessary in the car deal in a timely manner and submit to the accounting office.
  • Maintain a Daily Operating Control and review regularly with General Manager.
  • Acquire required insurance licenses and keep them current.
  • Provide Sales Managers with an average interest rate on a monthly basis to be used in putting customer payments.
  • Set up and maintain an adequate program which will ensure a 100-percent turnover ratio to the F&I department.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings.
  • Instruct salespeople in proper endorsement of F&I products and dealership financing.
  • Attend and participate in daily “-A-Deal” meetings with other managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date manual including current lender rates and incentives, current factory program and incentives, prices on all F&I products, and any other pertinent information.
  • Assist in any customer claims on any of the F&I products and follow up to make sure that claim is resolved in a satisfactory manner.
  • Set up monthly forecasting in conjunction with the sales department forecasting.
  • Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in the transactions.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a dealership F&I Department, selling financial services, or auto sales.
  • Must be able to provide references upon request.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to the dealership standards.
