About the position

UpEquity is a venture-backed real estate lending start-up that offers innovative financial technology products. Our flagship Trade Up product enables consumers to buy their next home without a sale contingency before they've sold their current home. The company recently closed on a Series C equity funding round and is looking for a high-potential Finance Manager to help the company scale. As a Finance Manager you will have exposure to the company's most critical workstreams, and you will be responsible for delivering on a variety of high impact tasks, including managing various Finance and Accounting workstreams, such as budgeting, forecasting, pricing, supporting debt and equity fundraising, and driving other high priority financial analyses on an as needed basis. You will work cross-functionally to develop actionable management and Board level reporting, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive business performance relative to the Financial Plan. Additionally, you will work closely with the executive team to research, plan, and execute on special projects, such as new product or market expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Managing various Finance and Accounting workstreams, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, supporting debt and equity fundraising, and driving other high priority financial analyses on an as needed basis.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in private equity, investment banking, consulting or corporate finance at high growth companies.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver results independently.
